The Brunswick Soccer Association is excited to offer a boys scholarship fund to assist families in need from the city of Brunswick to cover the cost of a soccer season. The BSA soccer community is a close group who are compassionate about giving every child in the community a chance to participate at the next level.
DJ Griffith was a former player who passed away a few years ago, at a young age. His father was a long serving referee and assignor for BSA.
"DJ loved the game of soccer. He played in Brunswick travel from the age of ten until he was fourteen. He also was a referee for many years, and in my opinion a pretty good one too. He also helped his father coach a travel team as he got older on an as needed basis. He blew out his knee before his freshman season, so he never played for Brunswick HS. DJ gave 100% every time he stepped on the field, and knew no other way to play the game he so loved." -- Dave Griffiths, father
